My love for nails started when I was young. Despite being a nail biter (still am), I wanted long, beautiful nails. Back then, there weren’t many choices for me. I never thought I’d have nice nails. Until a close friend took me to our local nail salon for the first time. My love was born, and creativity sparked.

My want to create my own designs coupled with my love of DIY, started me on my own nail journey.  At the time it was purely for fun. Later, friends would ask me to do their nails too. I loved it! Seeing the joy that came from the designs and creations I did gave me a wonderful feeling.

After leaving the civil service and finding my disability meant working under someone else’s structure, made my work life balance impossible. I decided I needed to work for myself and bring those same happy feelings from doing my friends nails to anyone who’d let me.

I’ve now started training for my nail technician qualifications. My speciality is hand painted nail art. So far, I am loving every minute of it and can’t wait to spread the joy far and wide.
